After a few days of sailing in the uncertainty of what to do, finally some ideas came to my mind and it was time to act.
This time it was only me, in the enemy lands help is not offered to those who seek to expose things that affect them, so after a few tries i was not able to take good pictures about the food waste in the dining halls.
It is interesting to see how many people is responding and liking the page, I sent a large invitation to most of my facebook contacts and my friends in MTU responded quickly and for my surprise friends from other universities in the US responded and supported me and shared some images from their schools and how they try to approach this issue.
My classes of design are working, I'm doing things I learned back there and didn't myself capable of doing them again.
I will keep track of this project once this class is done, I'm enjoying my time doing this and thanks to the support of people I think something important can be accomplished.
But thinking constantly in food makes me hungry :(

Feedback for classmates
Sarah- Vocal Accord
·
Major
argument: Making publicity for this musical group
·
Strength:
The drawings you created are really nice, I actually liked both of them and any
of those will be great for the group
·
Develop:
I’m not sure what will you be doing with logo, if posters or website, as
mentioned the color will help a lot.
Charly- Group
·
Major
argument: Support a local organization
·
Strength:
The power point option is really good, you can tell you are really in this
group and the idea of looking for new audiences is great.
·
Develop:
as you mentioned the images are still missing, but I think when you add them to
the presentation is going to be much better. Also as mentioned in some slides
you have a lot of text.
James-
Online Piracy
·
Major
argument: Online piracy
·
Strength:
The data collected is great, helps to
realize how big the problem with piracy is. Also the design is really good; the
combination of colors and shapes helps the visual.
·
Develop:
just make your sources visible and when
you’re done I think is going to be a very interesting work.
Cassandra- Greek
life
·
Major
argument: Arguments to join Greek life.
·
Strength:
Uses convincing arguments about Greek
life in college. The media used is really good, something quite different and
yet simple. I really liked it.
·
Develop:
Maybe using background music (if possible) would help. In some parts the
see-trough text was difficult to read with the background. Maybe some images would help to invite more
people to join.
